Research Use Policy.
Who we supply, what our products may and may not be used for, and how we enforce it.
1. Purpose
This policy sets out the conditions under which Stack Research LLC ("Stack") supplies research chemicals. It applies to every visitor, inquiry, quote, and order and is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions.
2. Who we supply
Stack supplies qualified researchers and professionals who are at least 21 years of age and who are purchasing on behalf of, or for use within, a laboratory, university, company, or research institution with appropriate facilities and safety protocols. Stack sells only within the United States and does not sell to consumers or individuals for personal use.
3. Permitted use
Products may be used only for lawful in‑vitro laboratory research, analytical, or educational purposes by trained personnel.
4. Prohibited uses
- Human or animal consumption, administration, or application of any kind
- Any clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, or veterinary use
- Use as, or incorporation into, any drug, food, supplement, or household product
- Resale or transfer to any person who is not a qualified researcher
- Any use that violates applicable local, state, or federal law
5. Attestation
Every visitor must confirm, before viewing the catalog, that they are 21 or older and a qualified researcher purchasing for research use only. Every pricing or certificate request restates this attestation. Each confirmation is recorded and retained, and checking the boxes constitutes the visitor's electronic signature. These confirmations are representations on which Stack relies.
6. Verification, refusal, and reporting
Stack may require documentation of institutional affiliation or other verification before providing a quote or fulfilling an order, and may decline any inquiry or order at its sole discretion, without explanation. Stack may report suspected misuse or diversion to the appropriate authorities as required by law.
7. Quantities and diversion
Orders in quantities, to destinations, or in patterns inconsistent with laboratory research may be refused or cancelled.
8. Labeling
Products are labeled with the compound name and batch number and are marked "For Research Use Only. Not for human or animal use. Keep out of reach of children." Labels must not be removed or altered.
9. Safety data
Research chemicals may be hazardous and must be handled only by trained personnel using appropriate personal protective equipment. Safety Data Sheets are available on request.
10. No medical or dosing information
Stack does not provide, and will not respond to, requests for dosing, administration, effects, or medical information. Requests of that kind are declined and may result in refusal of service.
